John’s was started by John Vines in 1984 with one truck and a slogan, “I Repair What Your Husband Fixed.” He ran the business until his unexpected death in May of 2023. CIPP (Cured-in-Place-Pipe Lining) Sewer Lining
HammerHead Lateral CIPP Solutions provide a structural repair with a leak-tight, frictional fit throughout the length of the rehabilitated pipe and can accommodate circular or non-circular cross-sections and a wide range of common pipe materials such as, but not limited to, concrete, vitrified clay, PVC, asbestos cement, cast iron, and ductile iron. Structural stability of the CIPP is achieved through compression during curing as the CIPP is expanded tightly against the walls of the existing pipe. At the same time, resin migrates into pipe joints, irregularities, and defects, anchoring the CIPP in place.
CIPP Solutions provide a leak-tight, structural repair to existing pipelines, including storm and sanitary sewers, drains, waste, vents, and other piping systems. HammerHead CIPP systems are resistant to municipal sewage flows and may be used to rehabilitate existing piping with straight alignment, bends, offset joints, and size or material transitions.
ADDS YEARS OF SERVICE:
Ideal for the rehabilitation of laterals and small sewer pipes, Bluelight can add up to 50 more years of service.
CIPP (Cured-in-Place-Pipe Lining) Sewer Lining involves the following steps:
- Remove roots from the pipe and flush debris from the pipe.
- Set up a sewer bypass system, if necessary, to reroute wastewater to other nearby pipes during the pipe lining process.
- Set up and run a sewer vacuum to keep the pipe free of debris and water during the pipe lining process.
- Insert the liner into the sewer pipe from the surface through a maintenance hole.
- Expose the liner to heat or ultraviolet light to cure, or harden, the liner inside the pipe.
- Open and reinstate sewer service lateral connections that were covered by the pipe lining.
- Remove the bypass system, if any.
- Conduct quality control inspections.
POINT REPAIR SOLUTIONS
Point repair is a solution for a variety of issues seen in different types of pipes. It can be used in conjunction with CIPP installations or as a stand-alone application over offset joints, pipe separations, and damaged siphons. It can also be used to seal off interior drops and cap off unwanted laterals.
PICOTE
Provides quick and efficient cleaning of blocked drains without the need for excessive water to be added to already flooded systems.
